Sometimes described as ocean yoga or underwater meditation, the free-diver is unencumbered by a scuba tank and can glide through the water like a fish. Moving slowly and gracefully, without a trail of bubbles, allows a far more intimate and natural experience with marine life.

SSI offers courses ranging from beginner to master free diver. Apnea Bali offers formal free diving education according to Apnea Total and SSI systems. It provides personalized trainings, competition preparation and workshops concerning specific free diving skills. Their goal is not to give you a certification. They want you to become a real free diver. They maintain high standards of their courses, tailoring each course to student’s needs and progress. They keep groups very small in the water. Maximum ratio instructor per student is 1:3. So the training is very personal and the progress is very fast. They are the most experienced freediving instructors in Bali with extensive background in recreational and competitive freediving and teaching.
