Bali’s renowned butterfly park is an insect and butterfly conservation facility that is purported to be the largest of its kind in the entire continent. Dedicated to the promotion, study, breeding, and preservation of over 300 types of butterflies from the 15 known species that flourish in the Indonesian archipelago, it is certainly one of the most unique nature parks of its kind.  Besides the many varieties of butterflies you may also observe a number of arachnids, stick insects, scorpions and other insects in informative displays.

The Butterfly Park, is like a magical fairy garden with winding pathways through the lush tropical gardens, over little bridges, and past colourful tropical blooms while butterflies flutter about. A dark, tunnel walkway takes you to where the other insects and creepy crawlies are on display in glass boxes including huge spiders, scorpions and beetles.
