ALMOND CAFE

  • Ubud, Gianyar Bali

We are investing our time and energy to seek healthy foods of the finest quality including the organic products. As mentioned, Almond works directly with farmers and their community base to ensure product quality & freshness and price competitiveness to our customers.

Our first store, namely Almond Shop & Cafe, is located in Nyuh Kuning, Ubud – a mountainous resting area within Gianyar District of Bali, well known among tourists for its beautiful rice fields and woods in between valleys and hills, where artists find their inspirations and various forms of arts are created.

Nyuh Kuning itself is a well known international village in Ubud. This is the area where Linda Garland developed her beautiful retreat, hosting Mick Jagger’s wedding. This is the place where they where shooting “Eat Pray Love” starring Julia Roberts who was shown walking around the streets on the famous movie. The popular yoga center, Yoga Barn, is within the vicinity, and so is the sacred and most beautiful Monkey Forest. On the other side of the forest you will find a busy area offering different kinds of attractions; shops, restaurants, and spas. All are in walking distance. This area is magical, a unique neighborhood with very friendly people with a lot to offer.

Besides Bali, our products are also available in Jakarta. At this stage, our products will reach you in Jakarta through direct distributions.

At Almond, besides dealing directly with the indigenous farmers, we also work hand-in-hand with local food artisans and biodiversity warriors to sustain the existence of our domestic and qualified food products. We will continue to create value-added products, build local capacity, ensure equitable trades with all supply-chain partners, and sharing entrepreneurial best practices with ethics, while maintaining the local wisdoms.
