The principal attractions near Perancak Village are the rows of brightly decorated and colorful fishing boats that launch from the harbor at dusk, sometimes carrying 20 or more fishermen.  These Madurese/Bugis-style prahu fishing vessels are a holdover from the Madura and South Sulawesi traders who settled along Bali’s west coast for generations.

This is the harbor where the biggest fish auction in Jembrana takes place. This pier is also a favorite spot for anglers. In addition to the shipyard, there are also factories around the dock with fish processing plants, fish processing and canning of fish oil and sardines.

Beach around the pier also has a very beautiful landscape with flat waves. Lack of trees around the pier makes this area seem very hot, but it does not diminish the beauty and bustle of the fishermen on the pier.
