Perhaps the most frequented market for tourists, Kuta Art Market stretches from Jalan Bakung Sari to Jalan Kartika Plaza, and is easily accessible from Kuta Beach. Referred to by its official name as ‘Pasar Seni Desa Adat Kuta’ (Art Market of the Kuta Traditional Village), the shopping compound comprises six main shop-houses and an extensive building housing many different stalls. The shops sell a wide range of items and trademark Bali curios, such as surfboard-shaped fridge magnets, tongue-in-cheek key chains, beer holders, faux leather shoes and sandals, T-shirts and colourful sarongs and fabrics.

One of Bali’s largest outdoor markets, with stalls selling clothing, sarongs, shoes, jewellery, locally produced handicrafts, basket ware, leather goods and furniture. The majority of the handicrafts on sale are produced in Bali, or nearby Indonesian islands.
