The village of Tegallalang is most well known for its breath-taking panorama of rice terraces, but Tegallalang Market is also a must see whilst in the area. As a cheaper alternative to Ubud Market or Sukawati Art Market, Tegallalang Market specialises in home wares, furniture, and lifestyle pieces; and the abundance of shops that dot the main road are wholesalers that normally export their items. Because of this, most of the shops will have delivery or shipping services in place. It is best to scour this shopping strip by car, as the shops stretch along both sides of the road for approximately 5 km, and most of the items you’ll find here wouldn’t fit in a shopping bag.

Tegallalang is about 10 minutes drive to the north of Ubud, and on the road to Kintamani, in central Bali.  Here you will find a very, long road of great wholesale type shops selling numerous handicrafts and other businesses.  It is a perfect place to source goods of all types.
