There are a number of rafting options in Bali and while the rapids are far from Amazonian in their intensity, it still requires enough wherewithal to make it feel like an adventure. More than this, it's a novel perspective on some captivating Balinese landscape, from steep ravines to steeped paddies to riverside villages. The journey takes you along Bali's main watercourse, the Ayung River, finishing up at a restaurant for a late lunch.

The Telaga Waja, which is considered holy by the local people, is located in Muncan, a perfect spot in the village of Karagasem, flowing 12 kilometers continuously through the island's most spectacular rural scenery. With the river categories from class III to IV, there is no doubt that Telaga Waja offers you the real meaning of ADVENTURE- that means excitement that you had never imagined during your stay in Bali. It is the most challenging rafting site in Bali that can be achieved in approximately 1.5 hours drive.

Ayung Rafting offers a different sensation and of course very challenging to try. Ayung River Rafting for decades known as the best and most favorite rafting in Bali and a choice of leading rafting operators in Bali.

Bali’s adventure rafting companies offering white water river rafting on the Telaga Waja and Ayung Rivers, are safe because of the thorough training at international standards that they put all their guides through. From the time you drop into the first set of rapids, your heart will be racing and your adrenalin pumping. In a continual spray of white clear water, you will rush past steep banks and ancient hanging trees, whilst rafting straight through cascading waterfalls of cold natural spring water. The guides will give you instruction and work with you to safely navigate the raft through torrents, twists, tight turns and inclined rapids. Overhead obstacles, narrow gorges and breathtaking views of terraced rice plains all along the way will give you an appetite for your final challenge! The Water Dam! Hold on, Take a deep breath, and down you go!
