This is one of the biggest art centers in Bali, showcasing a variety of traditional and contemporary performances and rituals. Kecak or wayang performances are regularly held at Sasana Budaya Art Center, as well as the Baris dance, a choreographed dance that is distinctive to Bangli’s culture. This typical Bangli choreography is known as Baris Jojor (eight men carrying spears), Baris Presi or Tamiang (eight men in a circle carrying leather shields), and Baris Dadap; all of which are performed especially during odalan.
