This two-story market situated across from the Ubud Palace and smack dab in the middle of town is a local institution with its elaborate warren of shops and stalls numbering in the hundreds.  Looking for local oleh-oleh (souvenirs)?  Then look no further.  You will find a variety of cottage industry merchandise including sarongs, clothing, paintings, carvings, masks, jewelry, and fabrics, plus fresh produce on the ground floor.  Perhaps not the finest handicraft selection but there is certainly a variety and bargains to be had depending on your tawar (bargaining) skills.
