The river temple of Pura Musen is special not for its actual edifice; although very beautiful, the temple stands out because of the journey needed to reach it. Walk east through dirt roads to Banjar Babakan, and then keep heading east through a dark bamboo forest, which will take you to a bamboo bridge over the Tukad Palak River. Continue your trek through lush fields, serene subak temples, and rice hulling stations until you reach the majestic 20-meter-high Tegenungan Waterfall. Keep hiking to get to Pura Musen, and finally, take a well-deserved dip in its refreshing public bath.
