This ‘Temple of The Dead’ is best known for the stone reliefs on it’s outer walls that graphically depict the horrors that may possibly await souls destined for heaven and hell as recounted by Uma, Ganesha, Shiva and Raksasa.  Death by impalement, boiling alive, hanging, burning alive and devouring by demons are just a few of the macabre carvings that are portrayed on the wall that was completed in 1995.
