Located in Bali’s northernmost tip in the village of Kubutambahan, is the agricultural village temple Pura Maduwe Karang (Temple of The Owner of the Land) dedicated to corn and coffee crops grown on the arid landscape of the area.  A number of stone relief carvings may be found on the temple walls, the most unusual of which is a depiction of Dutch artist W.O.J. Nieuwenkamp riding a bicycle.
