Another one of Bali’s important nine directional temples, this dramatic pura carved out of the mountainside is located 25 meters from the ocean near the village of Banyupoh.  It commemorates a holy spring discovered by the Hindu sage Danghyang Nirartha in the 16th century and is home to packs of macaques that are considered sacred to the temple.
