This ancient and important temple located on Jl. Pura Masopahit in Bali is in a way the reflection of the supreme art and cultural history of Bali.

This temple highlights the fact that the sacred thread of spiritualism runs deep throughout the country. The temple also reflects the strong cultural and spiritual belief of the people of Indonesia. The temple is one of the most visited places amongst all the tourist attractions in Bali. The temple features two main shrines that are the precious jewels of the temple, Candi Kusuma and Candi Rengat, they also have a fascinating story behind them. Fabricated in red brick and slim-lined, the shrines are the real eye catcher.

Pura Maospahit is not a big temple, but it has its own archaeological character and history, related to the Majapahit regime, which is where the Maospahit name came from. In the temple area, you can see many historical heritage buildings and antiques; including a pool, which the locals believe, is the place that Goddesses use for bathing.
