Located on Jl. Veteran close to Puputan Square, this large family residence and temple of the Royal Family of Denpasar that was rebuilt in 1930 is where an important collection of Kris daggers used during the 1906 puputan against the Dutch is housed.  There is also a large stage for regular and auspicious dance performances as well as a number of intricate decorative carvings.  The palace is also within close proximity of the well-known pet market, Pasar Satria

The temple opens at to 8AM in the morning and closes at to 4PM in evening on a daily basis. The palace and temple of the royal family of Denpasar is beautifully maintained. It is open to all residents of Denpasar for worship. Some wonderfully ornate carvings are kept here. The buildings inside the palace are unique. There is also an open hall, which was previously used for meetings of the kings throughout Bali.

A unique tooth filling ritual is held in the Sarita palace. According to the myth this helps to remove negativity and helps the people towards positivity and goodness. Tooth filing is an obligation to be fulfilled by the parents to the society in an effort to make their children better human beings.
