Although not much of the original palace structure remains since its reconstruction in the 1960’s, it has retained the compound wall, ceremonial gates, royal chapel and red brick facade.  Situated on the bustling corner of Denpasar–Gianyar road in East Denpasar, Puri Agung Kesiman is most noted for Cokorda Sakti Kesiman, the 19th century Kesiman prince who was said to have had magical powers that allowed him to communicate with the God of Uluwatu Temple.

The palace consists of a private mansion and the most highly structured family temple.
