This palatial museum and its splendid garden area sit on crest of a hill overlooking the Campuan River. It was the home and studio of one of Bali's most celebrated, and eccentric, artists Antonio Blanco, born in the Philippines of Spanish descent thus known as the "Dali of Bali." The museum contains a large collection of works, primarily portraits of women, from his illustrious career.

The Blanco Renaissance Museum, Antonio's lifetime dream, was opened on December 28, 1998 at his residence in a beautiful environment, where more than 300 works of Antonio are exposed in chronological order to show his artistic development. The sumptuous and impressive building offers a glimpse of the theatrical character of the artist.
