The ‘baby of the bunch’ at only 322m, Gunung Prapat Agung shares only its name with its much larger cousin, Gunung Agung. Primarily made up of limestone (one of three mountains like this in Bali), Gunung Prapat Agung is located in the middle of the West Bali National Park reserve in the northwestern tip of the island. There is a 24km trail that cuts through part of the base of the mountain that makes for an excellent hike amongst the parks flora and fauna. Prapat Agung consists mainly of limestone, making it one of three places in Bali to do so (the others are the Bukit Peninsula and Nusa Penida.
