Located in the village of Gitgit and in the middle of a rain forest, the 50-meter high waterfall (air tejun), surrounded by tropical trees and a lush green environment and with the charm of an undiscovered place, here is the largest one in Bali definitely worth a visit.  Just 10km south of Singaraja, there are actually three waterfalls in the area but the most spectacular and popular one is Gitgit that is located furthest south and is accessible via a 500-meter hike.  And about 17km from Singaraja and in the village by the same name is the fresh water swimming pool Air Sanih that is situated in front of a black sand beach.  The cools waters come from an underground spring that is said to originate from Lake Batur.

Air Sanih is one of the natural pools available in Bali Island supplied by the fresh spring water from the ground. There are many places in this island supplied by the fresh water but only 2 places offer the fresh water with swimming pool those are Air Sanih and Tirta Gangga Water Park. You can also enjoy a beautiful sunrise on Air Sanih beach or, by leaving early enough for Karangasem, you may see the first lights hit the peak of Mount Agung near Tulamben-a breathtaking experience.
